Born on 26 July 1948. Polish a visual artist, designer of utility glass. He graduated in 1973 from the Faculty of Glass at the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Wrocław (currently the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Fine Arts). In 1974 he cooperated with the Hortensja Economic Glassworks in Piotrków Trybunalski. In the following years, he worked at the Economic Glassworks in Ząbkowice (now a district of Dąbrowa Górnicza). From 1975 he worked there as a designer, in the years 1975 to 1979 also in the branch of the steelworks in Siemianowice Śląskie. From the end of the 70s of the twentieth century, he became associated with another branch of Ząbkowice – the Artistic Glassworks "Staszic" in Dąbrowa Górnicza, where he became the artistic director and worked until 1992. He also taught glass design in the years 1983-1984 at the State High School of Fine Arts in Dąbrowa Górnicza (currently the Tadeusz Kantor School of Fine Arts). In 1993 he took the position of a city artist in Sosnowiec, where he worked until retirement. Throughout the period of his artistic work, he took part in at least 27 domestic and foreign exhibitions, won the Third Prize and the Bronze Medal in the category of unique glass at the National Exhibition of Artistic and Applied Glass, Katowice 1977 and a distinction at the National Exhibition of Unique and Industrial Glass Katowice 1979.
