Ząbkowice Household Glass Factory – a utility glass factory operating in the years 1884–2002 in Ząbkowice (since 1977 a district of Dąbrowa Górnicza). The glassworks was established in 1884 as the Ząbkowice Glass Factory. Its founder was Józef Schreiber. In 1896, the company was transformed into a joint-stock company under the name of the Joint Stock Society of the Ząbkowice Glass Factory in Ząbkowice, which was joined by: Paul Star, Arnold Feigl, Max Gurewicz and Wacław Hajek. Until 1902, the glassworks produced only blown glass, later it began to produce pressed glass products. The products of the glassworks were glass accessories and glass for kerosene and gas lamps. Its relaunch took place during World War II, and its products were intended only for military purposes. After the liberation of these areas, production in the plant started in March 1945. Until 1949, the plant remained under the Provisional State Administration, when it was transformed into a state-owned enterprise. From 1959, the plant operated as Ząbkowice Household Glass Factory - a separate State Enterprise, subordinate to the Central Board of the Glass and Ceramic Industry. A year later, the name was changed to Ząbkowice Household Glass Glassworks. The main assortment of the plant were products made of lead glass, commonly known as crystals. In 1995, it employed 300 people. In 2002, on the basis of the assets of the Household Glassworks, the Artistic Glass Factory "Ząbkowice" S.A. was established.
