Instrument for measuring the Ph of water. Used by Bell Brothers, which in 1927 adapted the old tram depot into a water purification plant. The device consisted in comparing the color of the collected water samples (with the addition of a marker: phenolphthalein) with the color of standards of different Ph. The device has a wooden casing inside which there are holes for placing samples and a matte behind which the samples were placed.
